This F-frame breaker is designed to install directly into Eaton Series C panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers.
What is the modern Power Defense replacement for the FD3225?
The Eaton Power Defense PDG23G0225TFFL replaces this breaker. If you are upgrading an existing Series C enclosure, a retrofit kit will be required to mount the newer Power Defense frame.
Is there a difference between the Cutler-Hammer and Eaton versions of this breaker?
No. Eaton acquired Cutler-Hammer, and their F-frame breakers share the exact same engineering. This unit is completely interchangeable whether the label says Eaton, Cutler-Hammer, or Westinghouse.
Can this breaker be installed in DC electrical systems?
Yes, it is rated for DC applications up to 250VDC, providing a 10kA interrupting capacity for those systems.
Can the FD3225 be reverse fed?

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping

The breaker we purchased was as advertised. The breaker fit perfectly. We purchased reconditioned breaker and it seems to be working properly, accordingly to the golf course maintenance team that supervises the irrigation system.
Next day shipping came quickly even though the 4th of July was coming.
I wish it came with new installations hardware but that isn’t a deal breaker.
