The FDC3030 is an F-Frame breaker designed for use in Eaton Series C panelboards, including Pow-R-Line C models like the PRL3a and PRL4. Installation in these panelboards requires the appropriate twin-mount connector kits, such as the KPRL3AFD3 for 3-pole configurations in a PRL3a chassis.
What is the difference between the FDC3030, HFD3030, and FD3030?
All three are 30A, 3-pole Series C F-Frame breakers with identical physical dimensions, but they feature different interrupting capacities. The FDC3030 is the highest-rated version at 100kAIC at 480V. The HFD3030 is rated for 65kAIC at 480V, and the FD3030 is rated for 35kAIC at 480V.
Is the Eaton FDC3030 suitable for reverse feed applications?
Yes, as a thermal-magnetic Series C F-Frame circuit breaker, the FDC3030 is suitable for reverse feed (back-feeding) applications. It does not have dedicated line and load markings restricting the power flow direction.

Expedited Shipments
