This breaker is designed for use in Eaton Series C panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers (MCCs) that accept F-frame breakers.
Can I use the Eaton HFD2200 to replace a Westinghouse or Cutler-Hammer HFD2200?
Yes. Eaton acquired both the Westinghouse and Cutler-Hammer circuit breaker lines. An Eaton HFD2200 is the exact same Series C F-frame breaker and is a direct drop-in replacement for older Westinghouse or Cutler-Hammer models with the same catalog number.
What is the difference between an FD2200 and an HFD2200?
The 'H' indicates a high interrupting capacity. While both are 200A, 2-pole F-frame breakers with identical physical dimensions, the HFD2200 is rated for 65kAIC at 480VAC, whereas the standard FD2200 is rated for 35kAIC at 480VAC.
Is the HFD2200 suitable for reverse feed applications?
Yes. Eaton Series C F-frame thermal-magnetic circuit breakers, including the HFD2200, do not have line and load restrictions and are suitable for reverse feed installations.
What wire sizes do the standard lugs on the HFD2200 accept?
The standard factory lugs accommodate wire gauges from 4 AWG up to 4/0 AWG. They are rated for both copper (Cu) and aluminum (Al) conductors.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
