This F-frame breaker is designed for Eaton and Cutler-Hammer Series C panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers. It bolts directly to the bus and is not interchangeable with newer Series G or Power Defense frames without specialized hardware.
What are the higher interrupting capacity alternatives to the EHD3045?
If your system requires a higher short-circuit rating, the FD3045 provides 35kAIC at 480VAC, and the HFD3045 provides 65kAIC at 480VAC. Both share the exact same physical F-frame dimensions and mounting as the EHD3045.
Are the trip settings on the EHD3045 adjustable?
No, this breaker features a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip unit. The long-time and instantaneous trip functions are factory calibrated for 45 amps and cannot be adjusted in the field.
What wire sizes do the standard EHD3045 lugs accept?
The factory-installed lugs accommodate 14 AWG to 1/0 AWG conductors. When installing, ensure the conductors are torqued to the specifications printed directly on the breaker label to prevent thermal issues.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
