Can the Eaton FDB2110 replace an older Cutler-Hammer or Westinghouse FDB2110?
Yes. Eaton acquired the Cutler-Hammer and Westinghouse distribution equipment lines. The modern Eaton Series C FDB2110 is a direct, drop-in replacement for legacy Cutler-Hammer and Westinghouse breakers with the exact same catalog number.
What are the acceptable wire sizes and materials for the standard lugs on this breaker?
The factory-installed lugs accept wire gauges from 4 AWG up to 4/0 AWG. You can use either copper (Cu) or aluminum (Al) conductors.
What does the fixed LI trip function indicate on this F-Frame breaker?
The LI designation means the breaker provides Long-Time (thermal) and Instantaneous (magnetic) protection. Because it is a fixed thermal-magnetic breaker, neither the overload nor the short-circuit trip thresholds can be adjusted in the field.
Is the FDB2110 suitable for direct current (DC) applications?
Yes, this breaker is rated for DC systems up to 250VDC, providing a 10kA interrupting capacity for direct current installations.
Does this breaker mount to standard DIN rails?
No. The FDB2110 is a bolt-on molded case circuit breaker designed specifically to bolt directly to the busbars in compatible Series C panelboards and switchboards. It is not DIN rail mountable.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
