This plug-on breaker is designed for use in Eaton BR series load centers. It is also backwards compatible with legacy Westinghouse, Challenger, and Bryant panels that accept Type BR breakers.
Does the GFTCB260 provide personnel or equipment ground fault protection?
This breaker provides 5mA Class A ground fault personnel protection, designed to detect electrical leakage and shut off power to prevent electric shock.
How is the neutral wire connected on this GFCI breaker?
The GFTCB260 features a pigtail neutral connection. The coiled white pigtail wire must be connected directly to the neutral bus bar in the panel to ensure the ground fault circuitry functions correctly.
What is the difference between the GFTCB260 and the BRN260GF?
The GFTCB260 is the legacy version of Eaton's 60A 2-pole GFCI breaker. The BRN260GF is the newer, updated replacement model. Both offer the same 5mA ground fault protection and fit the same Type BR load centers.
Can I use aluminum wire with the GFTCB260 breaker?
Yes, the box lug terminals are rated for both copper and aluminum conductors ranging from 14 to 4 AWG. Ensure proper antioxidant compound is used if installing with aluminum wiring.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
