7 answersCan the GHC2015 be installed on a 480V ungrounded delta system?
No. The GHC2015 has a slash voltage rating of 480Y/277VAC. It is designed strictly for solidly grounded wye systems where the voltage to ground does not exceed 277V. It is not suitable for 480V ungrounded, corner-grounded, or resistance-grounded delta systems.
What does feed-thru mounting mean for the GHC2015?
Feed-thru (or unit mount) means the breaker does not plug into or bolt onto a traditional panelboard busbar. Instead, it is individually mounted using screws in OEM panels, enclosures, or motor control centers, and wires are landed directly on both the line and load lugs.
Can I mount the GHC2015 directly to a standard 35mm DIN rail?
The breaker cannot snap directly onto a DIN rail out of the box. You must use a compatible Eaton Series C G-Frame DIN rail adapter bracket to secure the unit mount breaker to the rail inside your control panel.
Can the GHC2015 be used in battery backup or DC control panels?
Yes, the thermal-magnetic trip unit is rated for direct current applications up to 125/250VDC. It provides 14kAIC of interrupting capacity for DC systems.
Is there a difference between the Cutler-Hammer GHC2015 and the Eaton GHC2015?
No. Eaton acquired Cutler-Hammer and transitioned the branding. A GHC2015 labeled as Eaton is the exact same Series C G-Frame breaker as one bearing the legacy Cutler-Hammer logo.
Does the GHC2015 require separate lug kits for installation?
No, this feed-thru breaker includes factory-installed line and load lugs ready to accept 14 to 10 AWG copper or aluminum conductors. Separate lug kits are not required for standard wiring.
Can I adjust the trip settings on the GHC2015?
No, the GHC2015 features a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. Both the long-time (overload) and instantaneous (short circuit) trip functions are factory set and cannot be adjusted in the field.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.

Expedited Shipments
