5 answersWhat is the difference between Eaton GHC and GHB circuit breakers?
While both are Series C G-frame breakers, GHC breakers like the GHC3045 are cable-in/cable-out unit mount breakers designed for enclosures and OEM panels. GHB breakers are bolt-on breakers designed specifically for Eaton panelboards.
Can the GHC3045 be mounted on a DIN rail?
Yes, although it is a surface-mounted breaker by default, it can be installed on a standard DIN rail by using a compatible Eaton DIN rail adapter.
What wire sizes are accepted by the GHC3045 terminals?
The standard lugs on this breaker accept wire gauges from 10 AWG up to 1/0 AWG.
What does the 480Y/277VAC slash rating indicate for system compatibility?
A slash rating means the breaker is only approved for use on solidly grounded wye systems where the line-to-ground voltage does not exceed 277V and the line-to-line voltage does not exceed 480V. It is not suitable for ungrounded or corner-grounded delta systems.
Are the trip settings on the GHC3045 adjustable?
No, this breaker uses a thermal-magnetic trip unit with fixed thermal and fixed magnetic settings. The long-time and instantaneous trip functions cannot be adjusted in the field.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
