Yes. Eaton K-Frame circuit breakers with non-interchangeable trip units, such as the KDB3350, do not have line and load markings and are suitable for reverse feed applications.
Can I use the KDB3350 to replace a KD3350 breaker?
Yes. The KDB3350 and KD3350 are both 350A, 3-pole K-Frame breakers with identical physical dimensions and a 35kAIC rating at 480VAC. The KDB3350 serves as a direct drop-in replacement for the KD3350 in Eaton Series C panelboards and motor control centers.
Is this breaker suitable for direct current (DC) systems?
Yes. In addition to its AC ratings, the KDB3350 is rated for 250VDC with a 10kA interrupting capacity. This allows it to be used in DC distribution panels, battery backup systems, and industrial DC motor control circuits.
Can the trip settings on the KDB3350 be adjusted in the field?
No. This breaker features a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip unit with Long-Time and Instantaneous (LI) functions. Because the trip unit is non-interchangeable, the thermal and magnetic trip points are factory set and cannot be modified.
Does the KDB3350 come with mounting hardware and lugs?
The breaker includes factory-installed mechanical lugs on both the line and load sides, accepting 250 to 500 kcmil aluminum or copper wire. Mounting hardware for specific panelboards or switchboards is typically sold separately.
Is the KDB3350 HACR rated for HVAC applications?
Yes. All Eaton K-Frame molded case circuit breakers, including the KDB3350, are HACR rated. This makes the breaker suitable for protecting heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
