This breaker is designed exclusively for use in legacy Federal Pacific Electric (FPE) Stab-Lok load centers. It features the specific plug-on connection required to fit the bus bars in these older panels.
How is the pigtail wire on this GFCI breaker installed?
The coiled white pigtail wire must be connected directly to the neutral bus bar in your electrical panel. This connection powers the internal circuitry required to monitor the circuit for ground faults.
Where does the load neutral wire connect when installing this breaker?
Unlike standard breakers, the load neutral wire from your branch circuit must connect directly to the designated neutral terminal on the GFCI breaker itself, not to the panel neutral bus bar.
Does this breaker provide both overload and ground-fault protection?
Yes. It utilizes thermal-magnetic trip technology for standard overload (long-time) and short-circuit (instantaneous) protection, combined with integrated ground-fault circuitry to detect leakage currents and help prevent electrical shock.
How often should the ground-fault protection be tested?
It is recommended to test the GFCI function monthly using the integrated test button on the breaker. This ensures the internal circuitry is actively monitoring for leakage currents.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
