This legacy breaker is designed exclusively for Federal Pacific (FPE) NB and NBLP commercial panelboards. It will not fit in standard residential load centers that require NA or NC plug-in style breakers.
Is there a modern replacement available for the FPE NB111020?
Yes. Connecticut Electric manufactures an aftermarket equivalent under the catalog number UBIF20NB. This newly manufactured, ETL-listed replacement is designed as a direct drop-in substitute for the original Federal Pacific NB bolt-on series.
How does the NB111020 mount into the panelboard?
Unlike standard Stab-Lok residential units that simply plug into the bus, the NB111020 is a commercial bolt-on breaker. It requires mounting hardware to firmly screw the breaker directly onto the panel bus for a secure electrical connection.
Does the NB frame use the original Federal Pacific Stab-Lok technology?
Yes. While the NB111020 features a commercial bolt-on casing, its internal thermal-magnetic trip mechanisms share the same base design architecture as the original Federal Pacific Stab-Lok family.
What does the LI trip function on the NB111020 indicate?
The LI code means this breaker relies on thermal-magnetic technology providing Long-Time and Instantaneous protection. The long-time thermal element trips on gradual overloads, while the instantaneous magnetic element responds immediately to short circuits.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
