Yes. This catalog number is for the breaker frame only and does not include lugs. To terminate your conductors, you must install the TCAL81 lug kit separately, which accepts three 3/0 AWG to 500 kcmil aluminum or copper wires per phase.
Does the SKLA36AT0800 frame come with a rating plug installed?
No. This breaker requires a field-installable rating plug to establish the continuous ampere rating and operate the electronic trip unit. The breaker will not function properly without the correct front-mounted rating plug installed.
Can the SKLA36AT0800 be reverse fed?
Yes. Spectra RMS molded case circuit breakers do not feature dedicated line or load side markings. Incoming power cables or busbars can be connected to either the upper or lower terminals, making them fully suitable for reverse feed applications.
How does the electronic trip unit measure current?
The solid-state trip system utilizes True RMS sensing and digital sampling. This allows the breaker to accurately calculate the RMS value of both sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal currents, ensuring reliable protection in environments with high harmonic distortion.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
