The D designates the short-circuit interrupting rating tier. The TEYD series provides a 25kAIC rating at 480Y/277VAC. This is an upgrade from the standard TEY (14kAIC) and TEYF (18kAIC) tiers, while TEYH (35kAIC) and TEYL (65kAIC) offer even higher ratings.
Can the TEYD3070B replace a standard GE TEY3070B breaker?
Yes. The TEYD3070B has the exact same physical dimensions and bolt-on mounting configuration as the standard TEY3070B. It serves as a direct drop-in replacement when an upgraded 25kAIC interrupting rating is required by the electrical system.
What wire sizes and materials are supported by the TEYD3070B load lugs?
The factory-installed load lugs accept 4 AWG to 1/0 AWG copper wire, or 2 AWG to 1/0 AWG aluminum wire.
Can the TEYD3070B be used as a standalone unit-mount breaker?
Yes, but it requires a separate three-pole mounting base accessory. When equipped with this base, the breaker can be utilized in unit-mount or lug-to-lug installations outside of a standard lighting panelboard.
Are the thermal and magnetic trip settings adjustable on the TEYD3070B?
No. The TEYD3070B features a fixed thermal magnetic trip unit. Both the long-time and instantaneous trip functions are factory set and non-adjustable.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
