Description
Engineered for commercial applications, the GE TEYF3100 is a 3-pole, 100A miniature circuit breaker from the Q-Line family. It features a thermal-magnetic trip unit to protect against overloads and short circuits. This bolt-on breaker installs securely into GE A-Series lighting panelboards. It accepts 4-1/0 AWG wire via standard lug terminals. Rated 18 kAIC at 480Y/277V, it includes a quick-make/quick-break mechanism and a common trip bar. What is the difference between GE TEY and TEYF circuit breakers?
The difference lies in the short-circuit interrupting rating at 480Y/277VAC. Standard TEY breakers are rated at 14kAIC, while TEYF breakers offer a higher interrupting capacity of 18kAIC at 480Y/277VAC. Both share the exact same physical dimensions and mounting footprint.
What is the recommended lug tightening torque for the TEYF3100?
For the factory-installed lugs, the required tightening torque depends on the wire size. Torque 4 AWG wire to 45 in-lb, and 3 AWG through 1/0 AWG wire to 50 in-lb.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
