This breaker is designed specifically for GE and ABB A-Series lighting panelboards. It features a bolt-on mounting style that secures directly to the panelboard bus.
Can I install this breaker in a standard GE residential load center?
No. The TEYH3060B is a bolt-on molded case circuit breaker intended for commercial A-Series panelboards. It will not fit in PowerMark Gold or other residential plug-on load centers.
What is the difference between a standard TEY and the TEYH series?
The H in TEYH indicates a higher interrupting rating. While a standard TEY breaker typically offers 14kAIC at 480/277VAC, the TEYH3060B provides a 35kAIC rating at the same voltage, making it suitable for commercial systems with higher available fault currents.
Why is this breaker listed under both ABB and General Electric?
ABB acquired GE Industrial Solutions in 2018. As a result, TEYH series breakers may arrive with either GE or ABB branding, but they are identical in form, fit, and function and maintain the exact same UL listings.
What type of wire is approved for the lugs on this 60A breaker?
The factory-installed lugs accept both copper and aluminum conductors ranging from 10 AWG to 4 AWG. Ensure you apply the correct torque as specified on the breaker faceplate during installation.
Are the trip settings on the TEYH3060B adjustable?
No. This breaker features a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip unit. It does not offer field-adjustable dials for long-time or instantaneous pickup.
Can this 3-pole breaker be used in DC applications?

Expedited Shipments
