This breaker is designed for bolt-on installation in ABB and GE A-Series lighting panelboards. It will not fit standard residential plug-on load centers.
What is the difference between the GE TEY2050B and the TEYL2050B?
The difference is the short-circuit interrupting rating. The standard TEY frame is rated for 14kA at 480/277V, while the TEYL frame offers a higher interrupting capacity of 65kA at 480/277V. Both are 50A, 2-pole breakers that fit A-Series panelboards.
Is the TEYL2050B rated for direct current (DC) systems?
Yes, this thermal-magnetic breaker is UL listed for DC applications. It provides an interrupting capacity of 42kA at 125VDC and 20kA at 250VDC.
What are the acceptable wire sizes for the TEYL2050B lugs?
The standard lugs on this breaker accept 10 AWG to 4 AWG conductors. They are suitable for use with both copper and aluminum wiring.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
