Built for commercial and industrial distribution, the THQD32125 is a 125A, 3-pole bolt-on molded case circuit breaker. It utilizes thermal-magnetic trip technology to deliver fixed long-time and instantaneous (LI) protection for heavy-duty electrical systems. This breaker mounts into GE A-Series and Spectra Series panelboards. Note that this Q-Line model is replaced by the Formula A2 series (A2N125TW), which requires a panelboard retrofit. This bolt-on Q-Line breaker is designed specifically for installation in GE A-Series and GE Spectra Series panelboards. It cannot be used in standard residential PowerMark Gold load centers, which require plug-in style breakers.
What is the difference between the GE TQD32125 and the THQD32125?
The H in the THQD part number indicates a higher interrupting capacity. While the standard TQD32125 is rated at 10kAIC at 240V, the THQD32125 provides a 22kAIC rating for applications requiring higher fault current protection.
What wire size and conductor materials are supported by the lugs on this breaker?
The factory lugs accept wire sizes ranging from 4 AWG to 300 kcmil. They are dual-rated for use with both copper (Cu) and aluminum (Al) conductors.
Will this breaker match my existing GE equipment if the new part is branded ABB?
Yes. ABB acquired GE Industrial Solutions and continues to manufacture the Q-Line family to the exact same specifications. An ABB-branded THQD32125 is a direct, drop-in replacement for a legacy GE-branded THQD32125.
Can I adjust the trip settings on the THQD32125?
No. This unit features a fixed thermal magnetic trip unit. Both the long-time overload and instantaneous short-circuit trip functions are factory set and cannot be modified in the field.

Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
