It provides reliable overcurrent protection across 3-phase applications. This unit mount MCCB installs into GE J600 panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers. For facility upgrades, it can be replaced by the Tmax XT5 series using a retrofit kit. What wire sizes do the standard lugs on this breaker accept?
The factory lugs accommodate dual wires per phase. They accept two 4/0 AWG to 350 kcmil copper conductors, or two 300 to 500 kcmil aluminum conductors.
Can the TJK636450 be used in DC circuits?
Yes, this thermal magnetic breaker is rated for DC applications. It provides a 20kA interrupting capacity at both 250VDC and 500VDC.
How do I adjust the trip settings on this breaker?
The TJK636450 features a fixed thermal element for long time overload protection and an adjustable magnetic element for instantaneous short circuit protection. The magnetic trip threshold can be adjusted using the dial located on the front face of the breaker.
