Yes. Siemens manufactures both Murray and Siemens brands, and the MP125GFA is UL listed for use in both Murray and Siemens plug-on load centers.
What is the current Siemens equivalent for the Murray MP125GFA?
The Siemens QF125A is the direct replacement for the legacy Murray MP125GFA. Both are 25A, 1-pole GFCI breakers that fit the same load centers.
How is the neutral connection wired on the MP125GFA?
This breaker features a pigtail neutral connection. The coiled white wire must be connected directly to the panel neutral bus bar to ensure the ground-fault circuitry functions correctly.
What level of ground-fault protection does the MP125GFA provide?
It provides Class A ground-fault protection. The breaker is designed to trip when a ground fault of 5mA is detected, which is the standard for personnel protection.
Does the MP125GFA include arc-fault protection?
No. The MP125GFA is strictly a Ground-Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI). It does not provide arc-fault (AFCI) protection. If your circuit requires both, a dual-function breaker is necessary.
Can this 25A GFCI breaker be used to protect standard 15A or 20A receptacles?
No. A 25A breaker must only be used with wiring and devices rated for 25 amps or higher. Using it on standard 15A or 20A household circuits violates electrical codes and creates a fire hazard.
Will the MP125GFA fit in a Square D or Eaton panel?
No. The MP125GFA is designed exclusively for Siemens and Murray load centers. It is not interchangeable with Square D, Eaton, or other competitor panels.

Expedited Shipments
