The standard AL150HD lugs require 50 lb-in for 14-10 AWG wire and 120 lb-in for 8-3/0 AWG wire. A 3/16-inch Allen wrench is required for the wire binding screw.
What enclosures and panels are compatible with the HGL26100?
This unit-mount breaker is designed for PowerPacT H-Frame enclosures, switchboards, and industrial control panels. It can also be installed as a main breaker in Square D NF and NQ panelboards.
Is the HGL26100 suitable for reverse feeding?
Yes. Standard unit-mount PowerPacT H-Frame thermal-magnetic circuit breakers feature factory-sealed trip units and are suitable for reverse-fed applications.
What is the difference between the HGL26100 and the HDL26100 or HJL26100?
The difference is the interrupting rating. The HGL26100 has a G rating (65kA at 240VAC, 35kA at 480VAC). The HDL26100 has a lower D rating (25kA at 240VAC, 18kA at 480VAC), while the HJL26100 offers a higher J rating (100kA at 240VAC, 65kA at 480VAC). All three share the same physical dimensions and mounting footprint.
What is the difference between the HGL26100 and the HGA26100?
The HGL26100 is a unit-mount circuit breaker that uses mechanical lugs for wire connections on both the line and load sides. The HGA26100 is the I-Line version, which plugs directly into an I-Line panelboard bus on the line side and has lugs only on the load side.
Does the HGL26100 include a push-to-trip button?
Yes, all PowerPacT circuit breakers feature an integral push-to-trip button on the cover. This allows you to manually trip the breaker to verify the mechanical operation of the trip mechanism.
What does the G in the HGL26100 catalog number indicate?
The G designates the interrupting rating level of the breaker. For the PowerPacT H-Frame, the G-rating provides 65kA at 240VAC, 35kA at 480VAC, and 18kA at 600VAC.
Can the HGL26100 be used in DC applications?
Yes, this thermal-magnetic breaker is rated for DC applications. It provides an interrupting rating of 20kA at 250VDC and 20kA at 500VDC.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
