This unit-mount breaker is designed for use in Square D individual enclosures, metering devices, panelboards, and switchboards that accept Q-Frame breakers. It is not compatible with I-Line group-mounted panels.
Can the QBL32090 replace older Square D circuit breakers?
Yes, the PowerPacT Q-frame line is a direct replacement for discontinued Square D Q2 Series circuit breakers with matching pole and amperage configurations.
What is the recommended tightening torque for the lugs on the QBL32090?
The line and load lugs, which accept 4 AWG to 300 kcmil aluminum or copper wire, should be torqued to 248 lb-in (28 N.m).
Is the QBL32090 rated for 100 percent continuous duty?
No, this breaker has a standard 80 percent continuous current rating. Continuous loads should not exceed 72 amps (80 percent of its 90-amp rating) for three hours or more.
What are the magnetic trip thresholds for this 90-amp breaker?
The fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit has a magnetic hold current of 1200A and a magnetic tripping current of 2400A.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
