4 answersWhat is the difference between Siemens CQD and BQD circuit breakers?
While both share the same frame size and trip characteristics, they use different mounting methods. The CQD series, including the CQD370, is designed for 35mm DIN rail mounting with feed-thru cable connections. The BQD series is designed to bolt directly onto the busbars of Siemens panelboards.
How is the CQD370 secured inside an enclosure?
This breaker is designed to snap onto a standard 35mm DIN rail. It utilizes a feed-thru connection design, meaning it has mechanical lugs on both the line and load sides for direct wire termination rather than bolting to a panelboard bus.
Can I install accessories like a shunt trip on the CQD370?
Yes, the Siemens CQD frame supports various internal accessories. You can install compatible shunt trips, such as 120V or 240V versions, and auxiliary switches to integrate the breaker into your control and automation circuits.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
