This bolt-on circuit breaker is designed to mount directly into the busbars of Siemens P1, P2, and P3 panelboards, as well as compatible Siemens switchboards.
Are terminal lugs included on both the line and load sides of the breaker?
By default, this breaker includes load-side lugs only. Because it is a bolt-on breaker, the line side is designed to connect directly to the busbars of a panelboard. If you are installing it in a standalone enclosure, field-installable line-side lugs must be sourced separately.
What does the 'H' in the HED43B015 catalog number signify?
The 'H' indicates that this is a High-Interrupting capacity breaker. While it shares the same physical ED-frame footprint as a standard ED4 circuit breaker, the HED43B015 handles higher fault currents, offering an interrupting rating of 42kA at 480VAC and 100kA at 240VAC.
Is the HED43B015 suitable for reverse feeding?
Yes. Because it utilizes a non-interchangeable thermal-magnetic trip unit, this ED-frame circuit breaker is UL listed for reverse feed applications.
Can this breaker be used to protect direct current (DC) circuits?
Yes. In addition to its AC ratings, this thermal-magnetic breaker is fully approved for direct current applications, providing short-circuit protection with a 30kA interrupting capacity at 250VDC.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
