This plug-on breaker is compatible with Siemens EQ, PL, ES, and Ultimate series load centers. It requires two standard 1-inch spaces on the bus bar.
What is the difference between the Siemens Q240 and the Q240H?
The primary difference is the interrupting capacity. The standard Q240 is rated at 10kAIC, whereas the Q240H is a high-interrupting version rated at 22kAIC for systems with higher available fault currents.
Can the Q240H replace a Murray MP240HT?
Yes. Siemens manufactures the QP/QPH family as the official, UL-listed replacement for legacy Murray MP-T and MP-HT series breakers. The Q240H directly replaces the 22kAIC Murray MP240HT.
Is the Q240H suitable for HVAC equipment?
Yes, the Q240H is HACR rated, meaning it is tested and approved for use with heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment requiring this safety designation.
What is required if I use the Q240H as a back-fed main breaker?
If you are installing this breaker as a back-fed main in a Siemens panel, NEC regulations require it to be mechanically secured to the bus. You will need to install a compatible hold-down kit, such as the Siemens ECMBR2.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
