What does the H in the Q325H catalog number indicate?
The H designates the QPH series, which features a high interrupting rating of 22kAIC at 240V. This is required for installations where the available fault current exceeds the 10kAIC limit of standard QP breakers.
How many panel spaces does the Q325H require?
This 3-pole breaker requires three full 1-inch spaces in a compatible 3-phase load center.
Can the Q325H replace a standard Q325 breaker?
Yes. The Q325H shares the exact physical dimensions and plug-in mounting as the standard Q325, but upgrades the short-circuit interrupting rating from 10kAIC to 22kAIC.
What is the recommended terminal torque for the Q325H?
The standard lug torque for this breaker is 25 lb-in for 14-6 AWG conductors. Always confirm with the factory label on the side of the breaker prior to termination.
Is the Q325H interchangeable with competitor panels like Square D or GE?
No. Siemens QPH breakers are UL listed exclusively for Siemens, Murray, and select legacy ITE enclosures. Installing them in unapproved competitor panels violates NEC and voids the UL listing.
Does the Q325H include GFCI or AFCI protection?
No. The Q325H is a standard thermal-magnetic breaker with long-time and instantaneous trip functions. It does not provide ground-fault or arc-fault protection.
Can I use the Q325H in a single-phase panel?
No. The Q325H is a 3-pole breaker designed specifically for 3-phase systems. It will not fit properly or function as intended in a standard 120/240V single-phase residential load center.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
