6 answersDo I need a load neutral connection if I am powering a straight 240V load?
No, a load neutral is not required for 2-wire 240V circuits. However, the white pigtail wire on the breaker must still be connected to the panel neutral bar for the internal GFCI circuitry to function.
What is the ground fault trip threshold for the QF245A?
This is a Class A GFCI device. It is designed to trip when it detects a ground fault current imbalance of 4 to 6 milliamps.
Does the QF245A include an automatic self-test feature?
Yes, this breaker features continuous self-testing to ensure the ground fault protection is working properly, complying with UL 943 requirements. If the device detects a failure in the GFCI mechanism, it will trip itself.
What is the difference between the Siemens QF245 and the QF245A?
The QF245A is the direct replacement for the obsolete QF245. The A suffix indicates the addition of the automatic self-test functionality required by updated UL standards.
Is the QF245A a Plug-On Neutral breaker?
No, this model uses a standard pigtail neutral. The attached white wire must be manually routed and terminated at the neutral bus bar in your load center.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
