Can the PowerPacT B-Frame replace older F-Frame I-Line breakers?
Yes. The PowerPacT B-Frame is the direct replacement for legacy F-Frame models like the FA and FH series. Because both 3-pole frames require 4.5 inches of I-Line mounting space, retrofitting is straightforward.
How much mounting space does this 3-pole breaker require in an I-Line panel?

What does the Y suffix in the BDA34125Y catalog number mean?

This thermal-magnetic breaker has fixed trip settings. The magnetic short-circuit protection is set to a 1000A hold current and a 1500A trip current.
Can I use this breaker on a standard 480V Delta system?
No. The BDA34125Y has a slash voltage rating of 480Y/277VAC. It is only rated for use on solidly grounded Wye systems where the phase-to-ground voltage does not exceed 277VAC. It cannot be used on ungrounded or corner-grounded 480V Delta systems.
What is the difference between the BDA34125Y and the BGA34125Y?
Both are 125A, 3-pole I-Line breakers, but they have different short-circuit interrupting capacities. The BDA model has a D rating (18kAIC at 480Y/277VAC), while the BGA model features a higher G rating (35kAIC at 480Y/277VAC).

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
