The PowerPact B-frame series is the direct modern replacement for legacy Square D F-frame breakers. The BDA36125 specifically replaces 125-amp, 3-pole FA and FH series I-Line breakers, maintaining the exact same mounting footprint for simple retrofits.
What is the difference between the BDA36125 and BDL36125 circuit breakers?
The difference lies in the connection type. The BDA36125 has an I-Line plug-in connection on the line side for use in Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. The BDL36125 features standard lugs on both the line and load sides for unit-mount applications.
Can the BDA36125 be installed in an older I-Line panelboard?
Yes. PowerPact B-frame I-Line breakers like the BDA36125 are backwards compatible with existing Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. They do not require any panel modifications to install.
What type of load-side terminals are equipped on the BDA36125?
The load side of this breaker is equipped with Square D patented EverLink lugs. These creep-compensating lugs maintain constant pressure on the conductor, preventing loose connections caused by thermal cycling. They accept 14 AWG to 2/0 AWG aluminum or copper wire.
What do the letters in the BDA36125 catalog number indicate?
In the PowerPact nomenclature, "B" indicates the B-frame size. "D" designates the interrupting rating tier, which is 18kA at 480VAC. "A" specifies the I-Line plug-in mounting style on the line side.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
