Yes. The PowerPacT B-frame is the direct engineered replacement for legacy F-frame breakers like the FA36060 in Square D I-Line panelboards. It occupies the exact same mounting footprint, allowing for straightforward retrofits without the need for panel busbar modifications.
What are the higher interrupting capacity equivalents to the BDA36060?
If your application requires a higher interrupting rating than the D-level BDA36060, you can step up to the G-rated BGA36060 or the J-rated BJA36060. Both offer the exact same physical footprint and 60A rating but with higher short-circuit limits.
What are the magnetic hold and trip current settings for this 60A breaker?
This thermal-magnetic breaker features fixed magnetic protection. The short-circuit hold current is factory set at 640A, and the trip current is fixed at 960A.
What is the recommended tightening torque for the load lugs?
The load-side lugs require specific torque depending on the conductor size. For 14 AWG to 10 AWG wire, tighten to 31.9 to 38.9 lb-in (3.6 to 4.4 N.m). For 8 AWG to 2/0 AWG wire, tighten to 44.3 to 54.9 lb-in (5.0 to 6.2 N.m).
Are the line-side mounting jaws replaceable on this unit?
No. The I-Line plug-on jaws and mounting brackets are an integral part of the breaker assembly. They provide a secure blow-on connection to the busbar and cannot be removed, replaced, or field-installed.
Does the PowerPacT B-frame series use dual-break contacts?
Yes. This series uses a dual-break rotating contact design. This mechanism limits peak current let-through during a short-circuit fault, enhancing protection for downstream equipment.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
