This unit-mount breaker is designed for use in compatible Square D enclosures, switchboards, and panelboards. It is not compatible with I-Line panels, which require plug-on jaw connections.
What is the modern replacement for the Square D FAL24080?
The FAL24080 is a legacy F-frame circuit breaker. Schneider Electric now recommends the PowerPact B-frame or H-frame series as the modern equivalent for F-frame applications. Verify your panel's mounting and space requirements before upgrading.
Can the FAL24080 be reverse fed?
Yes. Because this thermal-magnetic breaker does not have Line and Load markings, it is suitable for reverse feeding in applications where back-feeding is permitted by local electrical codes.
Are the lugs on the FAL24080 replaceable?
Yes. The standard AL100FA mechanical lugs accept 14 to 1/0 AWG copper or 12 to 1/0 AWG aluminum wire. If your installation requires different wire sizes or materials, compatible replacement lug kits are available for Square D F-frame breakers.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
