This unit-mount breaker comes standard with AL150HD mechanical lugs on both the line and load sides. These lugs accept 14 AWG to 3/0 AWG aluminum or copper wire.
What is the recommended tightening torque for the AL150HD lugs on this breaker?
For 14 AWG to 10 AWG wire, the tightening torque is 44.3 lb-in (5 N.m). For 8 AWG to 3/0 AWG wire, the required torque is 124 lb-in (14 N.m).
Can the HGL36070 be installed directly into a Square D I-Line panelboard?
No. The HGL36070 is a unit-mount breaker designed for base mounting or DIN rail installation with the proper adapter. For an I-Line panelboard, you must use an I-Line configured breaker, such as the HGA36070.
What does the "G" in the HGL36070 catalog number indicate?
The "G" designates the interrupting rating level of the breaker. In the PowerPacT H-frame series, the G rating provides 35kA at 480VAC and 65kA at 240VAC. Other available interrupting levels include D, J, L, and R.
Is the HGL36070 suitable for reverse-feed applications?
Yes, this thermal-magnetic PowerPacT H-frame breaker is suitable for reverse feeding. It does not have line and load side restrictions.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
