Description
Engineered for commercial and industrial applications, the Square D HJL26050 is a 50A, 2-pole molded case circuit breaker from the PowerPacT H-Frame family. This unit mount MCCB installs into Square D NQ and NF panelboards, switchboards, and control panels. It also serves as an upgrade for discontinued FH26050 legacy F-Frame breakers. 5 answersWhat is the difference between the HJL26050 and the HDL26050 or HGL26050?
The difference is the interrupting capacity. The HJL26050 has a 100kA rating at 240VAC, while the HDL is rated for 25kA and the HGL is rated for 65kA at the same voltage. All three share the same physical dimensions and unit-mount configuration.
Can the HJL26050 circuit breaker be reverse fed?
Yes. Standard unit-mount PowerPacT H-frame circuit breakers with thermal magnetic trip units are suitable for reverse-fed applications.
What is the required lug torque for the HJL26050?
For the standard AL150HD lugs, torque 14 to 10 AWG wire to 50 lb-in, and 8 to 3/0 AWG wire to 120 lb-in.
Is this breaker 100 percent rated for continuous current?
No, the standard HJL26050 is 80 percent rated. A 100 percent rated version would require a C suffix in the catalog number, such as HJL26050C.
What panels accept the HJL26050 breaker?
This unit-mount breaker is designed for Square D NQ and NF panelboards, switchboards, and industrial control panels. It requires a backpan or DIN rail mounting hardware and will not plug into an I-Line panelboard.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
