The Square D LA36250 is designed exclusively for use in Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. Its plug-in style connection mounts directly to the proprietary I-Line busbar system.
What is the magnetic trip adjustment range for this 250A breaker?
The LA36250 features an adjustable magnetic, or instantaneous, trip function with a range from 1250A on the low setting to 2500A on the high setting. The thermal overload trip remains fixed at 250 amps.
What wire sizes and configurations are supported by the lugs on the LA36250?
The factory lugs accept a single conductor from 1 AWG to 600 kcmil, or two parallel conductors ranging from 1 AWG to 250 kcmil. The terminals are rated for both aluminum and copper wiring.
Does the LA36250 carry a direct current interrupting rating?
Yes. While typically used in alternating current systems up to 600VAC, this breaker is also rated for 250VDC applications. It delivers a maximum interrupting capacity of 10kAIC at 250VDC.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
