The MHL361200 is a legacy Square D M-Frame breaker. For modern replacements or new installations, Schneider Electric recommends transitioning to the PowerPact P-Frame series, such as the PJL36120, depending on your exact short-circuit coordination requirements.
What is the lug wire capacity for the MHL361200?
The standard factory lugs accept four 3/0 AWG to 500 kcmil aluminum or copper conductors per terminal to safely accommodate the 1200A maximum load.
Does this breaker plug directly into an I-Line panelboard?
No. This is a unit-mount, feed-thru circuit breaker. It is designed to bolt directly to the backpan of compatible Square D switchboards and motor control centers rather than plugging into an I-Line bussing system.
Are the thermal and magnetic trip elements adjustable on this M-Frame breaker?
This unit features standard LI (Long-Time, Instantaneous) thermal-magnetic protection. The thermal element is fixed, while the magnetic instantaneous trip threshold is adjustable to help coordinate with downstream loads.
Can the MHL361200 be used on direct current systems?
Yes. In addition to its AC ratings, this breaker is rated for 250VDC applications with a minimum 14kA interrupting capacity.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
