This unit-mount breaker is compatible with legacy Square D NQOD panelboards, standard switchboards, and specific Square D individual enclosures designed for Q-Frame breakers.
How is the Q2L2125 installed in an electrical system?
It utilizes a feed-thru, unit-mount configuration. Instead of plugging onto a busbar, it bolts securely into place and uses line and load lugs to make electrical connections.
What are the acceptable wire sizes for the Q2L2125 lugs?
The standard lugs accommodate 4 AWG to 300 kcmil wire and are rated for both aluminum and copper conductors.
How does the thermal-magnetic trip unit function on this breaker?
The trip unit provides fixed long-time (thermal) protection against overloads and fixed instantaneous (magnetic) protection against short circuits. The trip settings are factory-calibrated and cannot be adjusted in the field.
Does this breaker include integrated ground fault equipment protection?
No. The Q2L2125 is a standard thermal-magnetic breaker. It does not provide ground fault or arc fault protection.
Is the Q2L2125 part of a current or legacy product line?
The Q2L series is a legacy molded case circuit breaker line from Square D. It is primarily sourced to maintain or expand existing NQOD panelboards and older switchboards rather than for new construction.
Can this 240V breaker be installed on a 120V circuit?
Yes. While its maximum rating is 240VAC, it is fully compatible with 120/240VAC single-phase systems and maintains its 10kA interrupting capacity at both voltages.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
