This breaker is designed for use in legacy Square D NQOD panelboards, switchboards, and individual enclosures that accept Q-Frame unit-mount breakers.
Is the Q2L3100 an obsolete breaker, and what replaces it?
Yes, the Q2L series is a legacy frame that is no longer in active production. Square D PowerPact Q-Frame breakers (such as the QB, QD, or QG series) are the modern functional substitutes. However, installing an exact Q2L3100 replacement is often required to maintain the original UL listing of legacy NQOD panels.
What are the wire size requirements for the Q2L3100 lugs?
The factory-installed lugs accept wire gauges from 4 AWG up to 300 kcmil. Both aluminum and copper conductors are supported.
Can the Q2L3100 be installed in a 480V or 600V system?
No, this breaker has a maximum voltage rating of 240VAC. It cannot be used in 480V or 600V electrical systems.
Does this breaker plug onto a panelboard bus?
No, the Q2L3100 is a unit-mount, feed-thru circuit breaker. It must be bolted directly to the mounting pan or enclosure rather than plugging into a busbar. It features lugs on both the line and load sides.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
