This PowerPacT Q-Frame breaker is designed exclusively for Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. It will not fit in standard NQ or NF panels, which require unit-mount breakers.
How does the QBA220702 connect to the electrical system?
It utilizes an I-Line bracket mounting system. The line side plugs directly into the I-Line bus stack, eliminating the need for line-side wiring. The load side features mechanical lugs that accept 4 AWG to 300 kcmil aluminum or copper wire.
Can the QBA220702 be used in systems requiring high fault current ratings?
The QBA220702 is rated for a maximum of 10 kAIC at 240V AC. For applications requiring higher interrupting capacities, you must upgrade to the QD (25 kAIC), QG (65 kAIC), or QJ (100 kAIC) series within the PowerPacT Q-Frame family.
Can I adjust the trip curve settings on the QBA220702?
No, the QBA220702 features a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. The long-time overload and instantaneous short-circuit thresholds are factory-set, meaning you cannot dial in custom trip curves for specialized coordination.
Does the QBA220702 include a manual testing feature?
Yes, like all PowerPacT Q-Frame circuit breakers, it features an integral push-to-trip button on the cover. This allows electricians to manually trip the breaker to verify the mechanical operation of the trip mechanism during maintenance.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
