This breaker features an I-Line style plug-in connection and is exclusively designed for use in Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. It will not fit standard NQ or NF series panels.
What is the difference between the QBA, QDA, QGA, and QJA circuit breakers?
The difference lies in their interrupting ratings at 240VAC. The QBA series is rated at 10kAIC, QDA at 25kAIC, QGA at 65kAIC, and QJA at 100kAIC. They share the same physical Q-Frame dimensions and I-Line mounting.
What is the recommended lug torque for the load side terminals on this breaker?
The load side mechanical lugs should be torqued to 248 lb-in (28 N.m) for 4 AWG to 300 kcmil aluminum or copper conductors.
Can the QBA221502 replace older Square D circuit breakers?
Yes, the PowerPacT Q-frame circuit breakers are direct replacements for legacy Square D Q2 series devices with matching pole counts and amperages.

Can the QBA221502 I-Line breaker be reverse fed?
No. Because this is an I-Line breaker with plug-on jaws on the line side and mechanical lugs on the load side, it is strictly designed for forward feeding from the panelboard bus.
