Description
Built for robust commercial applications, the Square D QDL22070 is a 70A, 2-pole MCCB from the PowerPacT Q-Frame series. It delivers thermal-magnetic protection with fixed LI trip functions. This unit-mount breaker installs into Square D NQ panelboards, switchboards, and individual enclosures. It includes line and load lugs and replaces legacy Q2L2070 breakers. With a 25 kAIC interrupt rating at 240V, this HACR-rated breaker features a push-to-trip mechanism for easy testing.Specifications

This unit-mount Q-Frame breaker is designed for installation in Square D NQ panelboards, switchboards, and individual enclosures. It is not compatible with I-Line panelboards, which require plug-on I-Line breakers, or residential Homeline load centers.
Can I use the QDL22070 to replace an older Q2L2070 breaker?
Yes, the PowerPacT Q-Frame QDL22070 is the direct manufacturer replacement for the obsolete Square D Q2L2070. It shares the same footprint and mounting configuration as the legacy Q2 series.
Is the QDL22070 an I-Line or unit-mount breaker?
The QDL22070 is a unit-mount circuit breaker, meaning it is secured with mounting hardware and uses lug connections for cabled applications. It does not have the plug-on jaw connections required for I-Line distribution panels.
What type of wire connections does the QDL22070 use?
This feed-thru breaker comes with factory-installed box lugs on both the line and load sides. The lugs are rated to accept 4 AWG to 300 kcmil aluminum or copper wire.
Does the QDL22070 have an adjustable trip unit?
No, this breaker features a non-interchangeable thermal-magnetic trip unit with fixed long-time and instantaneous (LI) trip functions. The trip settings cannot be adjusted in the field.
How can I test the mechanical trip function on the QDL22070?
This breaker features a built-in push-to-trip button on the front cover. Pressing this button manually trips the breaker, allowing you to verify the mechanical integrity of the trip mechanism during routine maintenance.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
