This unit-mount breaker is designed for use in Square D NQ panelboards, switchboards, and individual enclosures. It features a feed-thru connection and is not compatible with I-Line panelboards.
What wire sizes and torque specifications are required for the QDL32070 lugs?
The factory-installed lugs accept 4 AWG to 300 kcmil aluminum or copper wire. The required tightening torque for these connections is 248 lb-in (28 N.m).
What is the difference between Square D QDL, QGL, and QJL circuit breakers?
The difference is the interrupting rating (AIC). The QDL32070 has a 25kAIC rating at 240V. The QGL series offers 65kAIC, and the QJL series provides 100kAIC for applications requiring higher fault current protection.
What does the LI trip function mean on this PowerPacT Q-Frame breaker?
The LI designation indicates that the thermal-magnetic trip unit provides Long-Time (L) overload protection and Instantaneous (I) short-circuit protection. Both the thermal and magnetic trip settings are fixed on this model.

No. This Q-Frame circuit breaker has a maximum voltage rating of 240VAC and cannot be safely installed on 480V or 600V systems.

Expedited Shipments
