Yes. Eaton acquired the Westinghouse electrical distribution business in 1994. An Eaton EB2030 is physically and mechanically identical to a legacy Westinghouse EB2030 and they can be used interchangeably.
What is the direct replacement for the legacy EB2030?
The EB2030 has been superseded by the Eaton EHD2030. The EHD2030 shares the same physical F-frame dimensions and mounting configuration, making it a direct drop-in replacement, though it carries a higher 480Y/277VAC maximum voltage rating.
Which panelboards accept the EB2030 circuit breaker?
The EB2030 is a bolt-on F-frame breaker designed specifically for installation in Eaton Pow-R-Line C panelboards and legacy Westinghouse F-Frame panelboards.
Do I need a retrofit kit to install the EB2030 into an older Westinghouse panel?
No. Because the EB2030 retains the original F-frame bolt-on mounting hardware, it installs directly into compatible legacy Westinghouse and Eaton panelboards without requiring any specialized retrofit kits or adapters.
Can the EB2030 be applied in DC electrical systems?
Yes. In addition to its 240VAC rating, the EB2030 is UL listed for direct current applications up to 125/250VDC, providing a 5kA interrupting capacity for DC loads.
Are the thermal and magnetic trip points adjustable on the EB2030?
No. The EB2030 is built with a non-interchangeable, fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. Both the long-time overload and instantaneous short circuit trip functions are factory calibrated and cannot be modified in the field.
Does the EB2030 provide ground fault or arc fault protection?
No. The EB2030 is a standard thermal-magnetic breaker that provides only long-time overload and instantaneous short circuit protection. It does not include GFCI or AFCI safety circuitry.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
