7 answersWhat is the difference between the Siemens QF120 and QF120A?
The QF120A is the direct replacement for the discontinued QF120 model. The A suffix indicates the breaker includes an automated self-testing feature to comply with updated UL 943 safety standards for ground-fault protection.
What level of ground-fault protection does this breaker provide?
It provides Class A ground-fault protection. The internal sensor trips the breaker if it detects a leakage current of 5mA, preventing severe electrical shock in wet or outdoor environments.
Does this breaker require a plug-on neutral load center?
No. This breaker is equipped with a pigtail neutral wire that must be routed and secured directly to the panel neutral bus bar. It works properly in standard, older panels without plug-on neutral capabilities.
Which panelboard series will accept this breaker?
It is compatible with Siemens EQ, EQL, SEQ, EQG, PL, and ES series load centers that are designed to accept standard 1-inch plug-on breakers.
What wire sizes are compatible with the load lugs?
The mechanical lugs are rated to accept 14 AWG to 8 AWG copper conductors, or 12 AWG to 8 AWG aluminum conductors.
Does this device provide standard overcurrent protection as well as GFCI?
Yes. It combines a thermal-magnetic trip mechanism for overloads and short circuits with integrated ground-fault sensing, eliminating the need for a separate GFCI receptacle on the circuit.
Does this breaker offer arc-fault protection?
No. This is a dedicated GFCI and overcurrent breaker. It does not provide AFCI protection. If your installation requires dual-function AFCI and GFCI protection, you must select a combination breaker.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
