Yes. Eaton acquired the Westinghouse distribution equipment line and the Cutler-Hammer brand. A new Eaton GHB breaker is an exact drop-in replacement for vintage Westinghouse or Cutler-Hammer GHB breakers with the same specifications.
Which panelboards accept the GHB3060 circuit breaker?
This G-frame bolt-on breaker is designed for use in Eaton Pow-R-Line C, Pow-R-Line 2 (PRL2), and Pow-R-Line 3a (PRL3a) panelboards. It will also fit older legacy Westinghouse Series C panelboards that accept standard bolt-on G-frame breakers.
What does the 480Y/277V slash rating mean for this breaker?
A 480Y/277V slash rating indicates the breaker is only approved for solidly grounded wye systems where the line-to-ground voltage does not exceed 277V. It cannot be used on corner-grounded or ungrounded 480V delta systems, because single-pole fault clearing could expose the breaker to the full 480V phase-to-phase voltage.
What is the terminal torque requirement for the GHB3060?
According to Eaton specifications for G-frame breakers, the terminal screw torque depends on the wire size. For #10 AWG wire, torque to 20 lb-in. For #8 AWG, torque to 40 lb-in. For #6 to #4 AWG, torque to 45 lb-in. For #3 to 1/0 AWG, torque to 50 lb-in. Always verify with the breaker nameplate before final installation.
Is it safe to backfeed or reverse feed the GHB3060?
Yes, the GHB3060 is suitable for reverse feed applications. Because it uses fixed thermal-magnetic trip units and has no internal line or load directional restrictions, you can safely land the incoming supply power on either the top or bottom terminals.
Will a standard Eaton BR or CH breaker fit in place of a GHB?
No. Eaton BR and CH series are plug-on breakers intended for residential and light commercial loadcenters. The GHB is a bolt-on molded case circuit breaker specifically built for Pow-R-Line commercial and industrial panelboards. They have completely different bus mounting styles and are not interchangeable.

Good product, but I was disappointed with the service. I accidentally placed two separate orders and ended up paying freight on both. I had requested that they combine the orders, and had that been done with the freight waived, it would have saved me money.
