This F-frame breaker is designed for use in Eaton Series C panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers. It is a bolt-on breaker and will not fit in standard plug-on load centers.
Can the Eaton HFD2030 replace an older Westinghouse HFD2030?
Yes. Eaton acquired the Westinghouse distribution equipment division. An Eaton or Cutler-Hammer Series C HFD2030 is the exact direct replacement for a legacy Westinghouse breaker with the same catalog number.
What is the difference between an FD2030 and an HFD2030?
The H prefix designates a high interrupting rating. While a standard FD2030 is rated for 35kAIC at 480VAC, the HFD2030 is rated for 65kAIC at 480VAC. Both share the same physical F-frame dimensions and mounting requirements.
What wire sizes and materials are accepted by the lugs on this breaker?
The standard lugs accept wire gauges from 14 AWG up to 1/0 AWG. The terminals are rated for both copper (Cu) and aluminum (Al) conductors.
Are the trip settings adjustable on the HFD2030?
No. This breaker features a thermal magnetic trip unit with fixed thermal and fixed magnetic settings for both long-time and instantaneous protection.
Does this breaker mount onto a standard DIN rail?
No. The HFD2030 is a bolt-on molded case circuit breaker designed to be bolted directly to the busbars of a compatible Series C panelboard or switchboard.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.

Expedited Shipments
