This plug-on breaker is designed for use in GE Q-Line and PowerMark Gold load centers. It requires two standard 1-inch spaces for installation.
What is the difference between the THQL2115AF and THQL2115AF2?
The THQL2115AF is an older branch/feeder AFCI. The THQL2115AF2 is the newer combination-type AFCI (CAFCI) that meets updated National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements for detecting both parallel and series arcing.
How is the neutral connected on this breaker?
The THQL2115AF features a pigtail neutral connection. The coiled white pigtail wire must be connected directly to the panel neutral bus bar to power the internal arc fault circuitry.
Can this 2-pole AFCI be used for shared neutral circuits?
Yes, 2-pole AFCI breakers like the THQL2115AF are commonly used to provide arc fault protection for multi-wire branch circuits that share a single neutral conductor, as well as for dedicated 240V loads.
Can I install this pigtail AFCI in a Plug-On Neutral (PON) panel?
Yes. While it is not a plug-on neutral breaker, you can still install it in a PON panel by manually wiring the attached neutral pigtail to the neutral bus bar.
Does the THQL2115AF provide ground fault protection?
No, this unit is strictly an Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI). If your application requires both arc fault and ground fault protection, you will need a Dual Function (DFCI) breaker instead.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
