Does this AFCI breaker use a pigtail or plug-on neutral connection?
The THQL1115AF2 features a pigtail neutral wire. This pigtail must be routed and connected directly to the neutral bus bar in your panel to power the arc fault circuitry.
What is the difference between a standard AFCI and the combination AFCI provided by this breaker?
As a Combination Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (CAFCI), this unit detects both high-energy parallel arcs and low-energy series arcs. Older branch or feeder AFCI models only detected parallel arcs.
Can the THQL1115AF2 replace the older THQL1115AF?
Yes. The THQL1115AF2 is the direct replacement for the obsolete THQL1115AF. The AF2 version upgrades the protection to a Combination AFCI to meet modern NEC requirements.

Expedited Shipments
