How does the CHB380 mount to the panelboard bus?
This is a bolt-on breaker, meaning it fastens directly to the panelboard bus bars with screws. This provides a secure, vibration-resistant connection suitable for commercial and industrial applications. It requires three mounting spaces in the panel.
Can the CHB380 be used on a 208Y/120V three-phase system?
Yes. With a maximum voltage rating of 240VAC, this 3-pole breaker is fully compatible with 208Y/120V solid-grounded Wye systems and 240V Delta systems, provided the available fault current does not exceed its 10 kAIC rating.

Can the trip settings on the CHB380 be adjusted in the field?
No, the CHB380 features a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. Both the long-time (overload) and instantaneous (short circuit) trip points are factory calibrated and cannot be modified by the installer.

Expedited Shipments
