The BABRSP2030 is a remotely operated smart circuit breaker. It includes an integral solenoid for remote pulse-on and pulse-off switching, plus internal auxiliary switches that provide status feedback to lighting control systems like Eaton Pow-R-Command.
Can I manually override the remote control on the BABRSP2030?
Yes. The breaker features a manual override lever that closes the operator contact. However, once manually closed, the contact can only be reopened by a remote signal.
How does the status feedback work on the BABRSP2030?
The BABRSP2030 features internally mounted auxiliary switches connected in series. When both the remote contacts and the breaker handle are in the closed (ON) position, the status wire (yellow) reports the input voltage, confirming the circuit is energized.
What is the maximum load current allowed on the status feedback wire?
The external load current on the yellow status feedback wire must not exceed 0.5 amps.
What panelboards are compatible with the BABRSP2030?

What happens to the remote contacts if the breaker trips?
The controlled contacts work independently from the breaker contacts. However, opening and closing the remotely operated contacts while the breaker is in the tripped or OFF position will not supply load power.
Is the BABRSP2030 HACR rated?
