How are the 20A and 40A circuits configured on this quadplex breaker?
The BQC220240 provides two independent two-pole circuits. The 20A circuit is located on the outer poles, while the 40A circuit is located on the center poles.
Do the 20A and 40A circuits feature a common trip?
Yes, both the 20A outer circuit and the 40A center circuit feature a common trip mechanism. If an overload or short circuit occurs on one leg of either two-pole circuit, both legs of that specific circuit will trip simultaneously.
Does the BQC220240 include a rejection clip?
Yes, this is a CTL (Circuit Total Limiting) breaker and includes a rejection tab. It can only be installed in panel busbar slots specifically notched to accept tandem or quadplex breakers.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
