Description

Built for harsh marine environments, the Eaton GHB3090H08 is a 3-pole, 90A molded case circuit breaker. It features specialized naval modifications and a 50°C ambient temperature calibration for extreme conditions. This bolt-on breaker mounts into Eaton Pow-R-Line 2, Pow-R-Line 3, and Series C panelboards. It accepts 10-1/0 AWG wire and supports reverse feed configurations. Delivering 14 kAIC at 480Y/277VAC, it provides robust thermal-magnetic protection and is HACR rated.

Do I need to purchase separate lugs for this breaker?

No, the breaker comes with factory-installed lugs that accept 10 AWG to 1/0 AWG copper or aluminum conductors.

Can the GHB3090H08 be used in DC voltage applications?

Yes, in addition to its AC ratings, this breaker is rated for 125/250VDC systems with an interrupting capacity of 14kAIC.

How does the interrupting rating change based on system voltage?

The breaker provides a maximum of 65kAIC on 240VAC systems, but drops to 14kAIC when used on 480Y/277VAC or 125/250VDC systems. Ensure your fault current calculations match the specific voltage application.

Does this breaker mount onto a standard DIN rail?

No, the GHB3090H08 requires a bolt-on connection directly to the panelboard bus and is not designed for DIN rail mounting.

Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments

    Used model

    Breaker ohm tested out fine and currently working on load test with a longer term battery charger. So far so good. Packaged very well no visible damages during shipping. Even received a follow up call from customer that I missed.

    Good Product, but Disappointed With the Service

    Good product, but I was disappointed with the service. I accidentally placed two separate orders and ended up paying freight on both. I had requested that they combine the orders, and had that been done with the freight waived, it would have saved me money.

    Other than that, everything was good. I’m just disappointed that no one communicated this to me.
